Autotech Council's Annual Science Fair is a once-a-year, ONLINE & ONSITE opportunity for technology companies to introduce their innovations to strategy, R&D, scouting, and partnership executives from across the mobility industry.
Science Fair is a dual-format online and onsite event where car makers, vendors, startups, academics, and investors promote their innovations, products and co-development projects in a show-and-tell format. 100s of tech scouts and business development executives across automotive, transportation, and mobility visit, both virtually or in-person for vaccinated participants, the Science Fair to shop for innovation, search for synergies, and brainstorm potential use cases with their innovation colleagues.
While the layout of our onsite event may be reminiscent of a High School Science Fair, the technology is not! Join industry leaders as they browse exhibits, online or onsite, to discover companies and technologies transforming the automotive industry and take the next step with pre-arranged, private meetings of mutual interest curated by our MatchMaker Meeting service.
Every year, 100s of participants share thousands of ideas and new technologies at our Annual Science Fair onsite & online.
Event Features
- MatchMaker Meetings: Up to 1000 pre-arranged, private, 15-minute introductions between exhibitors, attendees, and Autotech Members available onsite on Oct 14 and online on Oct 15.
- Onsite Exhibit Tables: 3 hours on Oct 14 onsite visitors will discover relevant new mobility and automotive technologies, PoCs, and products. Browse through rows of projects and technical exhibits run by people who can truly answer your questions.
- Online Exhibits: Projects, demos and products are available to view asynchronously in our online portal. Search by company, technology, or person, and followup with a meeting request if you are using our MatchMaker service.
- Parking Lot Demos: Whether you just look or want to touch and try, several cars and working demos are available onsite only - in the parking lot - for onsite attendees to experience new technology first-hand.
- Ask an Engineer: Onsite exhibits are staffed by engineers who know the technology inside and out, not PR people.

Dual-Format Meeting
For vaccinated individuals, our onsite session in Silicon Valley feels just like a high school Science Fair, with technical and hands-on exhibits. The exhibits are not flashy; focusing on the innovation instead of superficial marketing and tradeshow booths, Science Fair exhibitors display their most innovative products and ideas with exhibits staffed by technical and engineering managers who can answer real questions, understand integration, and can brainstorm synergies and use cases. Use the MatchMaker service to pre-arrange private meetings onsite on Oct 14 or online on Oct 15.
Our online session in the Autotech Council Portal is full of online exhibits, demos, videos, and collateral that are keyword searchable and enables our MatchMaker users to schedule followup meetings with specific people, about specific technologies, or with the same technical staff who are managing the onsite exhibits and meetings.

MatchMaker Meeting Service Available - Onsite & Online
1000s of pre-arranged, private meetings will be available via the Autotech Council Member Portal. Portal access includes the option to showcase your technology and participate in curated meetings arranged through the MatchMaker Service. MatchMaker delegates meet each other privately in 15-minute introductory meetings which are requested, accepted, and scheduled in advance.
