This month, Autotech Council members open their discussion on  sensors to the public. Join Autotech Council members, OEMs, automotive suppliers, mobility startups and VCs to discover the current state of innovation in the sensors segment and highlight relevant startups with cutting edge solutions for ADAS, autonomous, and in-vehicle sensors.

Every year brings advances in ADAS and self-driving cars, and every year a critical part of those advances comes from innovation and improvements in sensors. Sensors such as cameras, LIDAR, RADAR, sonic ranging, accelerometers, HMI, and more combine to give our cars a model of the world outside and inside. The accuracy of this model is critical to safer and smarter cars.

What’s the state of the art? Well:

  • LIDARS are delivering ever-increasing points of data offering higher resolutions in solid state units
  • RADARS are being augmented to have resolutions more akin to LIDARs
  • Ranges are increasing
  • Tolerance for varied ambient conditions is increasing
  • Cameras are using light vectoring and other technology to see more than the human eye every could
  • Sensor SoCs are incorporating edge pre-processing to reduce their data loads
  • In-car sensors are improving infotainment, driver awareness, and UI elements

All of which results in the kind of amazing safety enhancements, and augmented “cruise control” systems that we’re seeing shipping in cars this year. As well as possibilities for trucks, robotics, industrial, delivery automatons, public transit, and eventually full-self-driving or driverless.

Join us as we highlight a few larger vendors who are leading the segment forward and bring several undiscovered companies to the stage as well.

Introduce your product or service to OEMs, Tier1s, and tech scouts. Applications are reviewed and invitations extended based on fit.

Meeting Tables will be available to presenters who wish to demo their product or service to our audience in a private networking space.
