Autotech Council members gather monthly onsite in Silicon Valley and online in our virtual meeting room to review innovation and interesting new technologies coming out of the mobility industry's entrepreneurial community across the globe.
This month, Global Affairs Canada, in association with the governments of Ontario, British Columbia and Quebec, sponsors our member meeting to introduce several young Canadian companies to this group of innovation scouts from major auto manufacturers, vendors, distributors and investors.
At Council meetings, members get the chance to connect with startups one-on-one and meet with industry colleagues and tech scouts in an informal setting, in a compact, 3-hour meeting. Startups, in turn, get the opportunity to pitch several car makers and their vendors, suppliers and mobility investors at once, without several business trips and weeks of business development. Each startup is given the opportunity to connect with the members during the networking break after the presentations.
Bi-monthly Startup Review meetings are closed to non-members, the public and media.
Sponsored by Global Affairs Canada
With offices around the world, the Governments of Canada, Ontario, British Columbia and Quebec work with international companies and partners to support Canadian businesses with on-the-ground intelligence, qualified contacts, partnership opportunities, and practical advice on foreign markets to help them to achieve their goals abroad. In September, they are pleased to present over 20 of Canada’s most innovative automotive technology start-ups to California’s automotive industry.

Visionary companies in the auto industry use the Autotech Council to discover innovation, build partnerships, exchange insight, and grow their professional networks. The result is earlier discovery of new innovation, better understanding of technology's potential impact and timing, access to more entrepreneurs and investors, and in the big picture - getting better cars to market faster.
