Autotech Council’s Spotlight Series, hosted by Avanta Ventures, features a handful of interesting startups working in a single industry segment followed by an interactive conversation on that topic led by a few member experts.

This month, 4 or 5 startups in the Fleet Electrification segment will introduce the Autotech Council community to their ideas and technologies in our virtual meeting room. Delegates from our ventures and vendor members who are following changes in the Fleet Electrification segment will be asking questions and giving feedback to each startup.

As with all Autotech Council meetings, we leave time on the agenda for members to connect with each other, followup with the startups, and continue the conversation – this time around Fleet Electrification solutions.

Electrification of fleets is more than batteries; when a fleet can’t send its drivers to a gas station, there is room for many new technologies, solutions, and startups. This meeting will look the opportunities around fleet electrification including energy-focused dispatching, energy management, renewable energy generation, new ownership models, battery-as-a-service, and possibly hydrogen power and backup technologies.
