Panel on Infotainment & Apps
In car infotainment and apps is about good content, suitably available and displayed. Our panel will look at changes in the car that are forward-looking to enhance the UX around in-car infotainment and apps. It’s not enough to just offer an app store or a dev-program, carmakers need to imagine the displayse, the connectivity, the storage, the UI, for the content. And also, developers need to know how which car systems they are authorized to access, and how to interact with the car through APIs. With charging stops, ADAS-assisted pauses in driving, and families inside, we’re going to need to build cars that are able to protect, inform, and entertain people.
